The Nazis order the confiscation of all communist buildings, presses, and other property. The Communist Party will eventually be banned outright, but at this stage the Nazis are simply seeking to limit their ability to play a very large role in the upcoming March elections.

Doing this, they hope, will help the Nazis achieve their much-desired majority in the Reichstag. Although they do manage to make impressive gains in the Reichstag, they will fail to achieve an overall majority.
