Luigi Cascioli's lawsuit against Father Enrico Righi is thrown out of court. Cascioli sued Righi in 2002 because Righi attacked Cascioli for calling the historical accuracy of the gospel into question in his book The Fable of Christ. Luigi Cascioli based his case on an Italian law that forbids conning the public, arguing that Righi's public claim that Jesus existed amounted to a con.
