Julius Streicher is born in Fleinhausen, Kingdom of Bavaria. Streicher will become one of the most notorious and vicious purveyors of anti-Semitic propaganda in Nazi Germany.

As publisher of the Nazi weekly newspaper Der Stürmer ("The Stormer" or "The Attacker"), he will play a key role in Nazi propaganda efforts - especially when it comes to anti-Semitism. The weekly newspaper Völkischer Beobachter ("The People's Observer") will present itself as a respectable publication but Der Stürmer wallows in the worst sorts of racism and hate.
