Jews are expelled from Burgsdorf, Switzerland. Christians generally try to avoid "infection" from Jews by walling them off in ghettos and restricting their ability to go outside it, but sometimes even that isn't enough and Jewish communities are simply expelled entirely - often with all their property confiscated first.

Such expulsions of Jews from Christian-dominated towns typically occurs in the wake of some tragedy which is blamed on the Jews (desecration of a church, death of a Christian child, plague, etc.). In such cases the Jews may be lucky to be left alive at all.
