Dutch Roman Catholic bishops published a decree which condemns "godless communism." This is likely a response to the Dutch-Indonesian war going on in Java and Sumatra. The people there want independence from the Dutch and right now the nationalists doing the most for independence are also communists. Thus this statement against "godless communism" is also, by implication, a statement in favor of Dutch colonialism.
