Guy de Montfort Killed in Cathar Crusade Hot

Guy de Montfort, brother of Simon IV de Montfort and uncle to Amaury VI of Montfort, is killed during the siege of Vareilles.

Simon de Montfort was the leader of the Crusade against the Cathars in southern France but he was killed during the Siege of Toulouse on 25 June 1218 while trying to help Guy who had been injured.
