Bulgaria passes the "Law for Protection of the Nation," an anti-Semitic measure denying Jews the right to vote and to hold public office, prohibiting marriage between Jews and non-Jews, and much more.

The definition of "Jew" is based on current Nazi racial policies and the law itself is created, at least in part, due to pressure from Nazi Germany.
