King Leopold III of Belgium surrenders to Nazi Germany.

Both Belgian and French politicians will castigate Leopold for this decision, but only because of their ignorance of how dire the situation is and how completely the Belgian defenses have collapsed.

The British do know, and while they aren't happy with the situation, they don't oppose or criticize the Belgian king's decision to surrender unconditionally.
