Kenneth Robinson, the British Minister of Health, declares that "Scientology is socially harmful" and bars from entry to the country anyone who is coming to practice it. Robinson says that he cannot prohibit the practice of Scientology entirely, but he can act to prevent it from growing.

Kenneth Robinson says: "Its authoritarian principles and practices are a potential menace to the personality and well-being of those so deluded as to become its [followers]."
